Crane rigger — Dima Hasao District

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Dima Hasao District, Assam. You will be based at a shipyard. You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Meals and transport allowance provided.
