Foundry operative • Mikang, Plateau State

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Mikang, Plateau State. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
