We are recruiting: furnace operator (Ohio)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Preble County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
