The role involves load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; set up and start the machine as per the job card.
