Foundry labourer • Gujba, Yobe State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Gujba, Yobe State. The role involves: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
