Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Yala, Cross River State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity.
