System formwork carpenter wanted in Johnson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Johnson County, Illinois. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. Day to day you will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
