We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. On the job you will handle: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Full-time with occasional weekends.
