Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Fulton County, Ohio. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
