Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Imphal West, Manipur. The job is at a power plant. Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness We offer ₹13,500 per month plus benefits.
