Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Webster County, Georgia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
