Gas installation technician — Bama

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Bama, Borno State. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Day to day you will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
