Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Borden County, Texas. On a typical shift you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
