Concrete worker • Ado, Benue State

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Ado, Benue State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
