Great opportunity: wood machinist (Kano State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Gezawa, Kano State. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On a typical shift you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. ₦650 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
