Garment presser wanted in Port-Harcourt

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. The job is in a busy laundry. You will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 5+ years on the tools preferred.
