We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Reading, England. The role involves: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
