Great opportunity: vertical milling machine operator (Abia State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Ukwa West, Abia State. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. You will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Part-time with flexible hours.
