Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
