Immediate opening: cnc lathe setter (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Oldham County, Texas. You will work at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
