Horticulturist — Surrey

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Surrey, England. You will work in a botanical garden. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage The role involves lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
