Head baker • Dukku, Gombe State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head baker in Dukku, Gombe State. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens On the job you will handle: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
