Great opportunity: lathe operator (Alabama)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Lee County, Alabama. You will be based in a textile mill. Your main tasks: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
