Shakeout operator wanted in Sapele

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Sapele, Delta State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
