Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Shawnee County, Kansas. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes On a typical shift you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them.
