Trainee butcher — Gwynedd

Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Gwynedd, Wales. The role involves: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
