Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture maker in Trinity County, California. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. On a typical shift you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops. Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Own basic hand tools Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
