GTAW welder • Ikeja, Lagos State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Ikeja, Lagos State. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time, day shift.
