Slinger signaller — Kiru

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Kiru, Kano State. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer ₦7,500 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
