Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Hadejia, Jigawa State. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Your main tasks: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
