Aluminium TIG welder — Multnomah County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Multnomah County, Oregon. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
