Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Dawson County, Nebraska. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
