Site carpenter wanted in Huron County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site carpenter in Huron County, Michigan. You will be based at a shopfitting company. On the job you will handle: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Full-time with occasional weekends.
