Now hiring: we are hiring a butcher in Murray County, Minnesota. You will be based in a meat processing plant. The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
