Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Scott County, Illinois. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. On the job you will handle: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks 5+ years on the tools preferred. $11,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
