Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. You will be based at a garment factory. The role involves: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
