Wood machinist — Madobi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Madobi, Kano State. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. You will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Good eye for detail and a clean finish 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. We offer ₦550 per hour plus benefits.
