Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Daura, Katsina State. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
