Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Taylor County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts What we are looking for: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
