Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium workshop fabricator in Ibi, Taraba State. The job is at an ACP cladding fabricator. Day-to-day duties: • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames You should have: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
