Now hiring: argon welding operator (Benue State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Tarka, Benue State. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
