TIG welder — Ibaji

Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Ibaji, Kogi State. You will be based on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
