Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Ohafia, Abia State. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. ₦13,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
