Port container crane operator — Kwande

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Kwande, Benue State. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals On a typical shift you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
