Milling machinist wanted in Cumbria

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Cumbria, England. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Pay around £2,650 per month, based on your experience.
