Retail butcher — Gboko

Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Gboko, Benue State. Day to day you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; season and marinate meat on request; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
