Join our team: shuttering carpenter (Wales)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Anglesey, Wales. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. On a typical shift you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
