Banksman wanted in Manatee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Manatee County, Florida. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle.
