Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Dawson County, Nebraska. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg On a typical shift you will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; load and index turning tools in the turret; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances.
