We are recruiting: wood machinist (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Cherokee County, Texas. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. On a typical shift you will check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
